Puzzle(s)
The Puzzle template is a simple game where the player has to place 9 differente pieces correctly. This pieces are shown to the player in groups of 3.
Puzzle Half and Puzzle Blippi Friendship function the same, as they are instances of the Puzzle template.
The educational aspect of this game comes in the form of a word that is taught simply by a narrator saying it and later, when the game is finished, shown visually in a celebratory animation.
Puzzle Half
Puzzle Half is the first game I had the opportunity to work on.
Here, I participated in discussions around what word could be shown here. We eventually settled on “half” and it would be represented by a half moon and a witchy Cowy.
My responsibilities where implementing assets and programming logic changes when it was need.
Puzzle Blippi Friendship
Puzzle Blippi Friendship was my first game to feature a third party IP such as Moonbug’s Blippi. That said the game is functionally the same as the previous one.
Here I had the experience to go through the process of sending information of the development and adapt to the IP holder’s (Moonbug) demands and views. Going back and forth with the team on how to execute their proposed changes.
Apart from that, my tasks where the same as in Puzzle Half.
